Health Screenings

Screenings

Each year the school nurse conducts health screenings according to the Rhode Island Department of Health Guidelines. They are as follows:

Vision- Grade 7- Screening date is November 10, 2016 with Dr. Michael Martinez from Advanced Eye Care

Scoliosis- Grades 6, 7, and 8. Screening ongoing by school nurse

Dental- Grade 7- date to be determined- by Dr. Vargas from St. Joseph’s Pediatric Dental Clinic

Any student that requires further diagnosis and treatment will be sent a referral in the US mail. Please bring your child to the physician and return the completed referral to the school nurse to ensure proper follow-up care.
